Scorpius Platform from AMD

Even though AMD has postponed the launch of new processor architectures than Bulldozer, that has not prevented us now present Scorpius platform, centered on them. This is their next high-end desktop platform, and brings together a Phenom FX processor (Zambezi octa core), a 900-generation chipset, and Radeon HD 6000 video card.

Performance exact date has not yet been released, but we now that these new CPUs will be competing with Sandy Bridge's normal Intel (quad core with or without Hyper-Threading), not with their future models Sandy Bridge is high end. So unfortunately it is projected that AMD will not reach in terms of raw power Intel processor. At least not yet. And it will please continue to fight for a report price / performance as good.
