The flights between mainland Norway and Svalbard (Spitsbergen) in the Arctic, to be suspended and a small portion of the airspace of Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, will be closed until Monday, at 14.00 (15.00 GMT) because of cloud volcanic ash from Iceland Grímsvötn.

"The ash cloud reached over the water separating mainland Norway Svalbard, " said Ove Narvesen, a spokesman for Avin.
"Thus, today (Monday) there will be no flights to and from Svalbard, " he added.
Only two flights are concerned on Monday by the measure.
Narvesen said that premature to comment on Tuesday's developments.
"There is a danger that western Norway may be affected, but it is too early to say this with certainty, " he said.
A part of Greenland's airspace was closed
