A 60-second video made with images taken by the International Space Station shows the Earth as never been seen until now.
Science teacher James Drake made a film with approximately 600 photographs of Earth taken from the International Space Station, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The film offers a stunning picture of the planet, from the Pacific Ocean, going over the North and South America and ending in Antarctica.
The images can be distinguished several popular cities: Vancouver Island, Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix. A special phenomenon can be seen in the images is lightning in the Pacific Ocean.
For the film, James Drake has used about 600 images on the website The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth, which stores more than one million images from space missions since the 1960s.
