HTC attack multimedia segment through a partnership with Audio Beats, Dr. Dre's company

HTC has partnered with renowned artist Dr. Dre Beats Audio and his company in order to integrate high-quality sound on all phones to be launched.

The agreement between HTC and Beats Audio amounting to 300 million dollars, which gets 51% stake HTC and will allow Taiwanese manufacturer to equip phones with high end sound, which repositions multimedia segment producer, and some of the phones will be launched this very toamana.

Beats Audio is a company founded in 2008 by Jimmy Iovene and Dr. Dre headphones known for professional artists, who bring a deep bass, detail and class dynamics. Also, working with artists like Lady GaGa, Justin Bieber or athletes as LeBron James, which should help HTC has become increasingly popular among young people.
